About Diamond Deals

Diamond Deals is a free bat finder for baseball and softball families. It answers the two questions every parent asks before spending $50 to $400 on a bat: what size? and is it legal in our league this year?

It's built by a former professional baseball player and scout who has fielded these questions from parents for years. The sizing advice comes from that experience and from published manufacturer and retailer charts. The rules come straight from each league's own published rules.

How we keep the rules current

• Every league rule on this site links to its source and shows the date we last checked it.
• We recheck every rule each January and July, and whenever a governing body announces a change.
• We link to the official approved, decertified and non-approved bat lists instead of copying them, so you always see the current version.
• When a rule depends on the state, event or tournament director, we say so instead of guessing.

Independent

We're not affiliated with any league, governing body or bat maker. We earn money through affiliate links to retailers, which never changes what the finder tells you.
